The Shishi Ko Katana can be used either one or two handed. The blade is differential harden 1095 High carbon steel. The full tang blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel which has been laminated in a Maru style. It has a O-kissaki. compounded with the light weight of the blade makes for lightening fast Nukitsuke. This High Quality Blade made by our swordsmith to easily cut through tatami straw mats or bamboo for tameshigiri.
