Essentially a straight, Japanese double edged sword. The weapon’s blade is perfectly balanced and makes a versatile cutting and thrusting combat sword. The folded steel patern sword blade is forged into a unique 8-sided octahedral shape. This shape provides additional strength to the blade, which is a great advantage for double edge sword blades. Razor sharp and with the natural resilience of folded steel, this straight Japanese sword is not only beautiful, with high ornamental sword value, it’s also battle functional and an extremely deadly weapon of war.

Hayashi Wakizashi made of hard forged and folded 1095 high carbon steel, very strong and durable. The handle is wrapped with black genuine rayskin and red synthetic silk ito. The tsuba is iron. The sword is well-balanced and assembled tightly.
This is one of our more unique additions to the EIJIForge collection. Aside from the unokubi geometry the blade also feature a robust ha. This is reminiscent of the Japanese practice where naginatas were cut down into swords.
