Handcrafted sword with  fittings from brass and alloy. The blade is forge folded by hand l to create thousands of layers of steel that is brought out by painstakingly hand polishing the blade. The saya features a Ishime with all buffalo horn fittings. This sword is ready to be used to cut tatami.

• Blade: The blade of the sword has been forged and folded through hardened using carbon steel in a Maru lamination with real yokote.
• Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a Ishime finish , bull horn element . The sageo is shigeuchi and tied over brass shitodome.
• Koshirae: The habaki is made of brass . The tsuba is alloy .
• The tsuka has genuine white samegawa ray skin with black cotton which is tied in hineri-maki and double pegged with smoked bamboo.
