Sensei Edition Yagyu O-nami Koshirae Katana

Sensei Edition Sanmai 3  Sensei Edition Yagyu – Onami Koshirae katana is made from hand-forged from T10 tool steel with sanmai lamination, clay-tempered to create a sword worthy of being called a performance cutter.  The blade is fitted in a wave theme throughout with dragon sea Menuki. The Tsuka is wrapped in black synthetic silk Ito use hishigami and the Saya is finished in a black gloss lacquer with rayskin.The blade comes full tang and very sharp.

Tsuru Sukashi Same Kuroro Katana

 “Tsuru” (Crane) – For thousands of years the Japanese culture has treasured the crane as a symbol of honor and loyalty.The crane symbol is used on many Japanese heraldic devices and is a theme in many famous works of art. It is a majestic bird which mates for life and is extremely loyal to its partner. The bird is strong, graceful and beautiful. Because of the great importance of the crane, the Japanese people feel that a person who folds 1,000 paper cranes will be granted his or her greatest wish. The blade of the Tsuru sukashi tamewari katana is hand forged , is made ​​of T10 tool steel in a Maru lamination. The blade is hardened differential to the sword to make strong but flexible.

Doutanuki tamahagane  The blade are forged and folded to Japanese standards, as well as include their own touch of experience and craftsmanship. and most definitely include an extremely sharp and durable cutting edge. The Doutanuki Tamahagane katana features a Kobuse Lamination. The design of the Katana has been inspired by the swords of the Edo period. Swords from this period were as much status symbol as they were weapon, and some were quite ornate.

Ryu Kage Katana

 Ryu kage 1 The Ryu Kage features a Sanmai Lamination with high shinogi. The design of the Katana has been inspired by the swords of the Edo period. Swords from this period were as much status symbol as they were weapon, and some were quite ornate.The sword also features medium niku with high shinogi, so it’s a stylish and functional piece that could’ve taken on armor then and would cut bamboo easily now.

 This blades’ medium Niku along the Shinogiji allows for heavier and harder cutting. The Niku keeps the blade thicker so the cuts will not be as swift and clean as a lighter blade, but the the Ha will keep its cutting edge longer. The sword is appropriate for heavy Tameshigiri with tatami and bamboo.

Naoshige Tamahagane

Naoshige tsuba  This Tamahagane Katana Sword is optimal for the technical training such as Batto for the cutting exercises because of the extra super hard blade  and the blade is hardened traditionally in a loam coat . The hardness is 45 degree HRC for the spine(Mune) and 60 degree HRC for the cutting edge, which is very flat and extra razor-sharp. The blade has been laminated in a Sanmai , the saya is made from ebony wood.

Wakizashi Naoshi 3  This is one of our more unique additions to the EIJIForge collection. Aside from the unokubi geometry the blade also feature a robust ha. This is reminiscent of the Japanese practice where naginatas were cut down into swords.

Semba Saburoe Katana

Forged Kobuse 1095-tsuba   This Katana hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel with Kobuse lamination, clay-tempered and hand-polished on wet stone. The blade is fitted in a Shi-shi theme throughout with lion dog Menuki. The Tsuka is wrapped in green silk Ito use hishigami and the Saya is finished in a black gloss lacquer with ray skin.The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
