The blade are forged and folded to Japanese standards, as well as include their own touch of experience and craftsmanship. and most definitely include an extremely sharp and durable cutting edge. The Doutanuki Tamahagane katana features a Kobuse Lamination. The design of the Katana has been inspired by the swords of the Edo period. Swords from this period were as much status symbol as they were weapon, and some were quite ornate.

The Ryu Kage features a Sanmai Lamination with high shinogi. The design of the Katana has been inspired by the swords of the Edo period. Swords from this period were as much status symbol as they were weapon, and some were quite ornate. The sword also features medium niku with high shinogi, so it’s a stylish and functional piece that could’ve taken on armor then and would cut bamboo easily now.

This Tamahagane Katana Sword is optimal for the technical training such as Batto for the cutting exercises because of the extra super hard blade and the blade is hardened traditionally in a loam coat . The hardness is 45 degree HRC for the spine(Mune) and 60 degree HRC for the cutting edge, which is very flat and extra razor-sharp. The blade has been laminated in a Sanmai , the saya is made from ebony wood.

This is 1045 differentially hardened steel fully functional Handmade Ninjato. The blade of the ninjato has been constructed from billet 1045 carbon steel in a straight edge style. The blade comes full tang, very sharp, and is fully capable of performing tameshigiri.

This is one of our more unique additions to the EIJIForge collection. Aside from the unokubi geometry the blade also feature a robust ha. This is reminiscent of the Japanese practice where naginatas were cut down into swords.
